Chapter 18 - The Verdict

The highly tense jury deliberation shockingly lasted less than four incredibly short hours before they formally announced they had a massive verdict.

The entire, heavily packed courtroom fell into an absolutely dead, suffocating silence as the stern judge carefully read the final legal documents.

Julian violently trembled in his seat, desperately gripping the edge of the heavy wooden table until his knuckles turned completely white.

Eleanor aggressively held her breath, her once beautiful, arrogant face now completely twisted into a terrifying mask of absolute panic.

“On the massive federal charge of conspiracy to commit premeditated murder, we find the absolute defendant, Eleanor, completely guilty,” the foreman announced loudly.

Eleanor violently let out a terrifying, guttural scream of absolute denial, physically collapsing back into her wooden chair in sheer horror.

“On the massive federal charges of severe elder abuse, extreme financial fraud, and gross forgery, we absolutely find Julian completely guilty.”

Julian violently sobbed out loud, completely burying his pathetic face in his trembling hands as his entire fake life violently shattered.

The stern, unforgiving judge aggressively banged his heavy wooden gavel, demanding absolute order in the incredibly chaotic, screaming courtroom.

“Given the absolute, terrifying severity of these heinous crimes against a vulnerable family member, I am handing down the maximum legal sentences,” the judge boomed.

He aggressively sentenced Eleanor to life in a maximum-security federal prison without the absolute possibility of early parole.

Julian was aggressively handed a massive forty-year sentence, completely ensuring he would spend the rest of his pathetic life behind cold steel bars.

Heavy, armed bailiffs aggressively rushed forward, forcefully grabbing the violent, screaming criminals and aggressively dragging them out of the shocked courtroom.

I watched them completely disappear through the heavy wooden doors, feeling absolutely no sympathy for the terrible monsters they truly were.

Beatrice gently squeezed my hand, a small, incredibly satisfied smile slowly spreading across her beautiful, wrinkled face.

“The massive, heavy trash has finally been completely taken out of our lives, Clara,” she whispered softly, her eyes shining brightly.

I smiled widely, absolutely agreeing with her incredible, flawless assessment of the massive, historic victory we had just easily won.

Justice had finally been completely served, and we were officially, permanently safe from their toxic, murderous control forever.
