Chapter 6 - The Traitor Within"Sir, we have a massive problem," Marcus interrupted, pointing at the one working monitor.

The screen showed the main armory, where a dozen of Cassian's loyal guards were supposed to be stationed.

The room was empty, and the heavy vault doors were standing wide open.

"Where are my men?" Cassian demanded, his fury rising.

"They were redirected," Elena said slowly, her eyes narrowing as she looked at the screen.

"By who?" Marcus asked.

"Only four people have the clearance to issue a tactical redirection order," Cassian realized.

"Myself, Marcus, Dante, and my brother."

Elena walked over to Dante, who was sweating profusely against the concrete wall.

"Where is your radio, Dante?" she asked quietly.

Dante looked up at her, his eyes shifting nervously.

"I dropped it in the hallway when I got shot," he stammered.

Elena stared at him, her expression turning into a mask of pure ice.

She suddenly reached forward, grabbing Dante's uninjured arm and twisting it violently.

Dante screamed in agony.

From his inner jacket pocket, a small, encrypted satellite phone spilled out onto the floor.

It was flashing with an incoming message in Cyrillic text.

Russian.

Cassian's face drained of color as he looked at the phone, then at his trusted lieutenant.

"You sold us out to Viktor," Cassian whispered, drawing his weapon and aiming it at Dante's head.
