She stood inside the bunker with a suppressed pistol pointed directly at my pregnant chest.
“Richard sends his warmest regards,” she sneered, her cold eyes raking over my stomach with absolute disgust.
“He promised me your pathetic life, and the entire Blackstone trust fund, in exchange for my permanent silence.”
Gabriel slowly stepped in front of me, shielding my body entirely with his own massive frame.

“Do you really think a monster like Richard will leave a loose end like you alive once he gets all the money?”
Chloe hesitated for just a fraction of a second, her arrogant confidence visibly wavering at the undeniable logic.

He kicked a heavy steel chair directly into her kneecaps with brutal force, sending her crashing painfully to the concrete floor.
The gun clattered away into the darkness, and I rushed forward, bravely kicking it far out of her reach.

Chloe screamed in agonizing pain, but Gabriel quickly bound her wrists tightly with industrial zip ties.
“You picked the wrong side of this war,” I told her coldly, looking down at the wicked woman who had helped destroy my life.
