Chapter 9 - Eviction Notice

Julian stared at the woman who gave birth to him, feeling absolutely nothing but disgust.
"You let my daughter dig in the trash while you gambled my money away," Julian stated, his voice dripping with venom.
"I did it for the family legacy, Julian! Elena was a nobody, a peasant!" Eleanor spat back, showing her true colors.
"Elena is the love of my life, and Lily is my heir," Julian replied, stepping closer to her.
"You have exactly one hour to pack a single suitcase and vacate this property."
Eleanor gasped, clutching her diamond necklace as if she were having a heart attack.
"This is my house! You cannot throw me out into the street!" she screamed.
"It's my name on the deed, Mother," Julian reminded her coldly.
