Chapter 18 - A Second Chance at Forever
On the day they moved into the lakehouse, Julian blindfolded Elena before they walked through the front doors.
"Julian, what are you doing?" she giggled, holding tightly onto his hand.
When he untied the silk ribbon, Elena gasped in pure shock.
The entire grand foyer was covered in thousands of white roses and glowing candles.
In the center of the room stood a priest, and a small group of their closest, truest friends.
Lily ran down the stairs wearing a beautiful white dress, holding a basket of flower petals.
"Elena, the first time we got married, we let my mother's shadow ruin our vows," Julian said softly.
