The judge ordered the audio to be played for the entire court to hear.
Eleanor's vicious, threatening voice echoed through the speakers, crystal clear.
"Sign the papers, you filthy gold-digger, or I will have my men take your child in the night," the recorded voice hissed.
Elena squeezed Julian's hand tightly, shaking at the memory of that terrible night.
The judge looked at Eleanor with absolute disgust.
"Mrs. Vance, did you forge the divorce documents using a traced signature?" the judge demanded.
Eleanor stammered, unable to form a single coherent sentence under the pressure.
Julian's lawyer then handed the judge the financial reports from the private investigator.

The judge slammed his gavel down so hard it echoed like a gunshot.
