The heavy red cylinder smashed directly into Arthur's rifle, knocking it out of his hands.
Before Arthur could reach for his sidearm, Marcus sprayed him in the face with thick, white foam.
Arthur roared in anger, blinded and choking on the chemical retardant.
Marcus didn't hesitate.
He tackled his father to the concrete floor, fueled by weeks of sheer terror and adrenaline.
He pinned Arthur down, driving his fist into his father's jaw repeatedly.
"You stay away from my family!" Marcus screamed, tears streaming down his face.
The federal agents finally broke cover and rushed forward.
They pulled Marcus off his father, restraining the older man with heavy zip ties.
Arthur was bleeding from his lip, but he still had that chilling, arrogant smirk on his face.
"You always were weak, Marcus," Arthur spat out, coughing up blood.
