Chapter 7 - The Nuclear Option

I exported the raw, unedited footage from the nursery camera. I didn't post it publicly on Facebook—that would violate terms of service and potentially invite legal trouble.
Instead, I created a private group chat titled "The Truth." I added every single family member who had sent me a hateful message, including Eleanor.
I uploaded the video file. Below it, I typed a single message:
“This is the ‘help’ my mother provided to a woman who had just been cut open to deliver my child. If any of you ever contact my wife, my daughter, or me again to defend this woman, you will be blocked permanently. Choose your next words carefully.”
I hit send. I watched the read receipts tick in one by one. For ten solid minutes, there was absolute digital silence.

Then, my uncle—Eleanor’s own brother—replied. “My God, Michael. I am so sorry. We had no idea.”
The dominoes began to fall. Within an hour, Eleanor's Facebook post was deleted. Her army of flying monkeys evaporated.
