Chapter 3 - The Viral Betrayal

The next morning, my lawyer, Mr. Sterling, arrived at the hospital with a grim expression.
He opened his tablet and showed me the viral footage that was destroying our lives.
The video started exactly five seconds after Eleanor poured the tea on my stomach.
It only showed me crying on the floor and Julian throwing the heavy porcelain teapot.
"The internet is calling him a deranged, abusive billionaire," Mr. Sterling explained.
"Eleanor is playing the perfect victim, crying on every major morning news show."
I stared at the screen, my blood boiling with a rage I had never felt before.
"They edited out the beginning of the confrontation to frame him," I said fiercely.
"We have to prove that they provoked this to steal his trust fund."
Julian’s grandfather had left a massive fortune that would only unlock when Julian had his first child.
Eleanor and Beatrice had been trying to sabotage my pregnancy for months out of pure greed.
"Without evidence of the tea being thrown first, Julian’s defense is incredibly weak," the lawyer sighed.
I closed my eyes, desperately trying to remember every single detail of that horrific dining room.
Then, a sudden, brilliant realization struck me like a bolt of lightning.
"Mr. Sterling, get me my phone right now," I ordered.
