“You weren't kidding, Arthur. It’s a complete bloodbath,” Marcus said, adjusting his glasses. “They were clumsy. Your mother used the stolen funds to purchase a vineyard in Tuscany and a yacht registered in the Caymans. Julian used his cut to pay off massive gambling debts in Macau.”
“Can we recover it?” I asked, staring at the documents. “Easily. Since they used company infrastructure to execute the transfers, it constitutes massive corporate fraud. But Arthur... if we hand this over to the SEC and the feds, they won't just face civil penalties. They will go to federal prison. Are you prepared for that?”

“Draft the criminal complaints,” I ordered. “I want them completely stripped of everything. I want the ancestral estate seized as collateral for the stolen funds. They thought they owned everything. I’m going to make sure they own nothing.” Marcus nodded slowly. “I’ll file the paperwork by the end of the day. They won't even see it coming.”
