Chapter 7 - The Confrontation with Donna

With Lily safely discharged and resting at Marcus's heavily guarded estate, it was time to pack my things.
I arrived at the house accompanied by three off-duty police officers and a moving crew.
Donna was sitting in the living room, drinking tea as if she owned the place.
She jumped up, screaming at the movers to get out of her son's house.
I calmly walked past her and directed the movers to pack up everything I had ever purchased.
Donna grabbed my arm again, her face twisted in pure rage.
One of the police officers immediately stepped forward, placing a hand on his belt.
He warned her that if she touched me again, she would be leaving in handcuffs.
Donna backed away, her hands shaking with fury.
She began screaming that I was a horrible wife and that Jessica was ten times the woman I would ever be.
She proudly admitted that she had helped pick out the townhouse for them.
I smiled at her, a cold and terrifying smile that made her stop screaming.
I informed her that the house we were standing in was solely in my name, inherited from my late grandfather before the marriage.
Because Brian had committed marital fraud, the judge had already granted me exclusive possession of the property.

I handed her an official eviction notice.
She had exactly one hour to pack her bags and get out of my house.
