Chapter 4 - The Anonymous Package

Exactly forty-eight hours after the horrific incident at the clinic, a sleek black courier van pulled up to Luke’s house.

A man in a sharp suit delivered a thick, unmarked manila envelope addressed directly to me.

Mark scanned the package for tracking devices before I broke the heavy wax seal.

Inside was a massive stack of documents, financial records, and medical files.

There was no return address, just a single, typed sticky note on top.

The note read: "You aren't the only one he destroyed.

Use this to bury them both."

I spread the papers across the dining room table, my brothers gathering closely around me.

The first document was a comprehensive log of secret wire transfers from Justin’s corporate accounts to offshore holdings.

He wasn't just cheating on me; he was embezzling millions of dollars from his commercial real estate firm.

But the most shocking revelation was tucked inside a blue medical folder.

Nathan picked it up, reading through the official lab reports with widened eyes.

"Clara, look at this," Nathan gasped, sliding the papers toward me.

They were Vanessa’s official medical records from a different hospital network.

Vanessa was completely barren due to a severe medical condition documented five years ago.

The pregnancy she was using to trap Justin, the one she cried about at the clinic, was entirely fake.

She had purchased forged ultrasound photos and manipulated blood test results online.

Justin was throwing away his family, his career, and his freedom for a woman who was playing him for a fool.

I looked up at my brothers, a slow, dangerous smile spreading across my face.
