Chapter 6 - Facing the Storm

The media circus outside the Montgomery estate grew larger by the hour, with news vans blocking the massive iron gates.

Reporters shoved microphones through the bars, desperate for a quote from the so-called "Gold Digger Nanny."

Arthur refused to hide in the shadows and let Isabella win this war of public perception.

He arranged an emergency press conference in the grand foyer of his company’s downtown headquarters.

Sarah stood backstage, her hands trembling violently as she listened to the aggressive murmurs of the press corps.

Arthur stepped in front of her, gently cupping her face in his warm, reassuring hands.

"Look at me, Sarah," he said softly, anchoring her chaotic thoughts with his steady gaze.

"They only have lies, but we have the absolute truth on our side."

He took her hand and led her out onto the brightly lit stage, facing a blinding storm of camera flashes.

The room erupted into chaos, with dozens of reporters screaming questions at the same time.

Arthur raised his hand, and his sheer commanding presence silenced the room in seconds.

"The woman standing next to me is a hero," Arthur declared into the microphone, his voice echoing with absolute authority.

"The vicious rumors circulating in the tabloids are fabricated lies funded by my estranged, criminal ex-wife."

"Sarah risked her own life to pull my son from a wall while the rest of high society sipped champagne."

Arthur turned to look at Sarah, his eyes filled with a raw, undeniable affection for all the world to see.

"She is the heart of my family, and I will personally sue anyone who prints another lie about her."

The journalists were stunned into absolute silence, frantically typing down the billionaire's passionate defense.

Sarah squeezed Arthur's hand, feeling a powerful surge of hope replacing her fear.
