Chapter 5 - The Ambush

"Boss, we have a massive problem," Marco yelled as he burst into the library.

"Our shipment at the southern docks has been ambushed by Rossi's men."

"They are burning the warehouses to the ground and executing our workers."

Lorenzo's eyes instantly darkened, turning from a gentle protector back into a ruthless predator.

"Get the armored SUVs ready," Lorenzo commanded, pulling a heavy pistol from his desk drawer.

Maria grabbed his arm, her eyes wide with sudden panic.

"Please be careful," she begged him, her voice shaking with genuine fear.

"Lock the doors, stay with Lily, and keep Pino by your side," Lorenzo instructed her firmly.

He kissed her hand and rushed out into the rainy night with his heavily armed crew.

The drive to the southern docks was tense, the rain hammering against the bulletproof glass of the SUV.

As they approached the harbor, massive flames lit up the dark sky like a nightmare.

Suddenly, a rocket-propelled grenade slammed into the lead car of Lorenzo's convoy.

The explosion flipped the heavy vehicle into the air, raining fire and metal everywhere.

"Ambush!" Marco screamed as machine-gun fire erupted from the shadows of the shipping containers.

Lorenzo kicked his door open and rolled behind a concrete barrier, firing his weapon with deadly accuracy.

The Rossi family had planned a trap, and they had brought a small army to finish the job.
