Chapter 1 - The Silent Fury

The monitors glowed with a harsh, unforgiving light, reflecting in Arthur’s wide, unblinking eyes. In the suffocating confines of the server room, the air grew incredibly thin. The nausea churning in his stomach rapidly hardened into something far more dangerous: a white-hot, razor-sharp fury.

He had built empires. He had dismantled rival corporations with a single phone call. Yet, the most profound betrayal of his life was happening on a Persian rug in his own sitting room.

"Sir?" the security chief, Marcus, whispered, his voice laced with careful concern. He had seen Arthur angry before, but never like this. Arthur’s knuckles were bone-white as he gripped the edge of the console.

On the screen, Eleanor continued her tirade, her face flushed with an ugly, arrogant power. She loomed over Clara, who remained an unwavering human shield for the two trembling girls behind her.

"Lock down the perimeter," Arthur commanded, his voice a low, lethal gravel. "No one leaves. Not the staff, and absolutely not her. Disable Eleanor’s gate access. Deactivate her black cards. Do it right now."

Marcus nodded instantly, his fingers flying across the secondary keyboard. "Done, sir."

Arthur didn’t blink as he watched Eleanor step closer to Clara, raising a manicured finger and jabbing it into the nanny's shoulder. It was a physical escalation. It was the final nail in her coffin. Arthur stood up, smoothing his tailored suit jacket with a terrifying calmness. He wasn't going to Tokyo. He was going to war.
