Chapter 7 - The Breach

David didn't need to kick the door down himself. He let the law do the heavy lifting.
At dawn on Sunday, a convoy of black SUVs belonging to the FBI and the US Marshals tore up the gravel driveway of the Blackwood estate. David stood silently by the command vehicle, his arms crossed, watching.
"FBI! Open the door!" a tactical agent boomed through a megaphone.
When the door didn't open, they brought the battering ram. The heavy oak doors splintered and gave way. Armed federal agents flooded the mansion.
Caleb and Wyatt tried to hide in the wine cellar. They were dragged out in handcuffs, screaming and crying—a stark contrast to the tough guys who had beaten a little girl.
Harrison Blackwood was arrested in his pajamas, clutching his chest as he was read his Miranda rights for racketeering, bribery, and fraud.
And then, they brought out Elena.
