Chapter 13 - The Traitor Revealed

Julian stood over Ramon, the gun aimed squarely at the man’s head.
"Go ahead," Ramon spat blood onto the pavement. "Kill me. But you’re already dead, Vargas. You think I found out about the baker on my own? You have a rat in your house."
Julian’s blood ran cold. "Who?"
Ramon laughed, a wet, ugly sound. "A guy who didn't like taking orders from an old man who went soft over a kid. He gave me the location of the bakery. And right now, while you’re out here playing arsonist, he’s opening the back gates of your estate."
Julian’s mind raced. Only his inner circle knew the security codes to the estate. Silvio was with him. Dante was with him. Marco...
Marco had stayed behind to guard the perimeter.
"Silvio, finish him," Julian barked, turning on his heel and sprinting toward the cars.

A single gunshot echoed behind him as Silvio executed the Iron Skulls boss. Julian threw himself into the driver’s seat of the SUV, his heart hammering against his ribs in a way it hadn't since 1968. If Marco let Ramon’s backup crew into the estate... Clara and Lily were completely defenseless.
"Hold on," Julian roared over the radio to his men, slamming his foot on the gas and tearing out of the docks. "We have to get back. Now!"
