The revelation hit Clara like a physical punch to the chest.
Eleanor’s family had killed her parents.
Julian’s face turned into a mask of pure, unadulterated fury.
“I will destroy them,” Julian whispered, his voice laced with venom.
He immediately pulled his phone out and called his head of security.
“Double the guards at the hospital, and put a detail on Clara 24/7.”
Clara felt tears streaming down her face.
“All this time, Eleanor’s family built their empire on my family's ruin.”
Julian pulled her into a tight, fierce embrace.
