Chapter 3 - The Billionaire's Debt

“Because you pulled me out of the flames,” Julian whispered.
He walked over and knelt directly in front of her.
The powerful billionaire looked up at the poor catering server with tears in his eyes.
“I have spent twenty years looking for the girl who saved my life.”
Clara shook her head, unable to process the billionaire's words.
“You were that little boy in the snow?”
“Yes,” he answered, taking her rough, blistered hand in his.
“And I owe you everything.”
Clara suddenly remembered the crushing weight of her reality.
“I don't want your money, Mr. Sterling, I just need my grandfather’s hospital bills paid.”
