Chapter 19 - The Legacy of Truth

Two years later, Purely Petals officially went public on the New York Stock Exchange.

It was a historic morning. The trading floor of the NYSE was packed with brokers, analysts, and media cameras. Above the iconic trading desk, the massive digital ticker displayed our company symbol: PTL. But instead of ringing the opening bell alone as a solitary, battle-hardened female founder, I stood on the balcony surrounded by the four people who made every sacrifice worth it.

I was dressed in a tailored emerald silk suit, holding seven-year-old Maya’s hand. To my right stood Julian, looking immensely proud in his dark suit, his hands resting on the shoulders of Leo and Noah.

"Ten seconds, Ms. Vance!" the floor director shouted, gesturing toward the massive brass bell on the balcony podium.

I looked down at my children. "Ready, team?"

"Ready!" they shouted together, all three of them placing their hands over the wooden mallet. Julian placed his large hand over theirs, and finally, I placed my hand on top of the entire pile.

When the digital clock hit 9:30 AM, we slammed the mallet against the brass bell together. The sound rang out across the trading floor, followed by a deafening roar of applause from the floor brokers below as confetti rained down from the ceiling and the stock ticker began flashing green, surging upward by forty percent in its first ten minutes of trading.

As the cameras flashed around us, Julian pulled me into his side, kissing the top of my head amidst the falling confetti. "Congratulations, Boss," he whispered in my ear. "You did it. You conquered the world."

"No," I replied softly, smiling up at him as our three children scrambled to catch the shimmering pieces of confetti in their hands. "We did it. Together."
