Chapter 7 - The Lion's Wrath

The streets of the city were completely abandoned as Vincent’s armored SUV sped toward the Moretti compound.
He did not bring an army with him, only four of his most elite, trusted enforcers.
Surprise and absolute brutality were the only advantages he needed tonight.
The Moretti compound was a sprawling, heavily guarded nightclub located near the industrial docks.
Don Carlo operated from the heavily fortified VIP lounge on the top floor.
Vincent stepped out of his vehicle, pulling a high-powered assault rifle from the trunk.
He did not bother knocking or trying to sneak through the back entrance.
He walked straight up to the front doors, kicking them open with a deafening crash.
The club was empty of patrons, but heavily populated by Moretti soldiers celebrating what they assumed was a victory.
They froze in absolute shock when they saw Vincent Torino standing in the doorway like the grim reaper.
"Tell Carlo I am here to discuss our treaty," Vincent announced loudly.
Before anyone could answer, Vincent opened fire, sweeping the room with devastating accuracy.
His men flooded in behind him, engaging the confused and terrified enemies.
Vincent did not stop moving, walking through the chaos with a terrifying, singular focus.
He marched up the grand staircase, his boots slipping slightly on the spilled blood.
Guards tried to stop him on the second floor, but Vincent moved like a man possessed by a dark god.
He was fighting for Sarah’s memory.
He was fighting for Carmen’s future.
And he was fighting to ensure little Isabella never had to cry in fear again.
He reached the heavy oak doors of the VIP lounge and shot the lock perfectly.
He kicked the doors inward, stepping into the luxurious office.
Don Carlo Moretti was scrambling frantically to open his wall safe, his face dripping with nervous sweat.
When he saw Vincent standing there, covered in soot and blood, the older mafia boss froze completely.
"Vincent, let us be reasonable," Carlo stammered, raising his hands in surrender.
"You killed my wife, Carlo," Vincent stated softly, aiming his weapon directly at the man’s chest.
"I didn't know the mechanic would cut the lines completely, it was meant to be a warning!" Carlo pleaded.
"And then you tried to kill a mother and her innocent child to cover your tracks," Vincent continued.
Vincent stepped closer, his eyes utterly void of any mercy.
May you like
"You broke the rules of this life, Carlo."
Vincent pulled the trigger, ensuring the Moretti empire completely crumbled in a single second.
