Chapter 10 - The Real Vow

Six months later, the sun set beautifully over a pristine private island in the Maldives.
The fake contract they had signed a year ago was currently burning in a silver fire pit on the beach.
Chloe stood barefoot in the white sand, wearing a stunning, simple white silk dress that caught the ocean breeze.
Julian stood before her, looking incredibly handsome in a tailored linen suit.
There were no paparazzi, no high-society elites, and no vicious rivals.
It was just them, Chloe's mother, and a completely shocked priest.
Julian reached into his pocket and pulled out a velvet box, revealing a flawless, brilliant-cut diamond ring.
"A year ago, you fell asleep on my shoulder and accidentally stole my frozen heart," Julian said smoothly, a rare, genuine smile lighting up his face.
Chloe giggled, tears of absolute joy streaming down her cheeks.
"I forced you into a fake arrangement because I was terrified of admitting what I truly wanted," he continued.
"But today, I am asking you to make it real."
He slipped the breathtaking ring onto her trembling finger.
"Will you marry me, Chloe, for real this time, forever?" he asked softly.
"Yes, a million times yes," Chloe whispered, throwing her arms around his neck.
