The morning after the fashion show, the reviews were published across every major magazine.
Vogue called Noah "the most important new voice in modern American fashion."
His midnight blue dress was purchased by a famous actress to wear to the Academy Awards.
He was suddenly thrust into a world of immense wealth, fame, and endless opportunity.
But despite the money and the glamorous parties, Noah never changed who he was at his core.
He used his first massive paycheck to buy a beautiful, quiet brownstone in Brooklyn.
He handed me the keys on a rainy Tuesday afternoon.
"What is this, Noah?" I asked, looking at the brass key in my palm.
"It is our new home, Mom," he smiled, wrapping his arms around me.
"You are never going to worry about paying a light bill or making rent ever again."
"You took care of me when the world turned its back on you, and now it is my turn to take care of you."
I walked into the beautiful, spacious home, completely overwhelmed by the reality of our new life.
