Chapter 8 - The Public Atonement

Taking their corrupt company was still not enough for the fiercely protective billionaire.

Alexander firmly demanded absolute, highly public closure for the horrible disrespect shown to his beloved grandfather.

He formally organized a massive, televised press conference inside the very same lobby where the terrible incident occurred.

Hundreds of bright camera flashes aggressively illuminated the lavish, gold-trimmed room.

Jack stood proudly in a brand-new, perfectly tailored designer suit, nervously adjusting his silk tie.

Elias stood humbly beside him, though today he wore a magnificent, dark three-piece suit that commanded absolute reverence.

Chloe and Richard Sterling were forcibly marched onto the small stage by Alexander's massive private security team.

They looked entirely broken, stripped of their massive wealth, arrogant pride, and expensive designer clothes.

"Read it clearly," Alexander commanded softly, pointing sharply to the prepared written statement on the podium.

Chloe leaned heavily into the microphone, her voice violently shaking as she fought back humiliated tears.

"I deeply and publicly apologize to Mr. Elias Vance and Mr. Jack Miller for my disgusting, unforgivable behavior," she cried softly.

She was forcefully made to legally admit her extreme privilege and absolute lack of human decency in front of millions.

The crowd watched in complete, absolute silence as the once-untouchable heiress thoroughly destroyed her own social standing.

When they were finally finished, Alexander simply waved his hand dismissively, completely tossing them away like unwanted trash.

Justice had been brutally, flawlessly, and entirely served.
