She turned to the second section of her binder—the toxicology and pharmacy logs Vance had uncovered.
“Furthermore, we present forensic proof of severe, intentional pharmacology abuse,” Elena continued, her voice ringing with clinical authority. “Over a ninety-day period between April and July of this year, Dr. Sterling utilized his DEA prescribing credentials to illegally divert high-potency veterinary sedatives and Schedule IV benzodiazepines from outpatient hospital stocks. He did not administer these controlled substances to patients; he systematically dosed the morning beverages of his pregnant wife, Clara Sterling, without her knowledge or medical consent, deliberately inducing cognitive disorientation and physical ataxia to manufacture a false medical record of psychiatric instability.”
To seal the presentation, Elena played the cloud audio recording of Marcus on the balcony: “The court will always believe a respected doctor over an unstable wife.”
