Chapter 10 - The New Empire

Six months later.

The doors to the executive boardroom of Thorne Global Dynamics swung open. The newly appointed board of directors sat in nervous anticipation. Silas Thorne was notoriously terrifying on a good day.

Silas walked in, impeccably dressed in a charcoal bespoke suit.

But he wasn't alone.

Holding his right hand was Tobias, wearing a miniature suit and a yellow tie. Holding his left was Elias, sporting a gray blazer with a tiny lightning bolt pin on the lapel.

The board members stared in stunned silence.

"Gentlemen, ladies," Silas announced smoothly, pulling out his executive chair. He lifted Tobias onto the seat next to him, while Elias climbed into the chair on his other side. "I apologize for the slight delay. My consultants needed to finish their hot chocolate."

At the far end of the table, Clara Vance-Thorne, newly appointed Chief Financial Officer, hid a smile behind her coffee cup.

"Now," Silas said, leaning forward, steepling his fingers. The cold, unyielding ambition that had once defined him was still there, but it was no longer hollow. It was anchored. "Let's discuss the Q3 acquisitions. Elias, what are our thoughts on the tech merger?"

Elias adjusted his collar, looking at the terrified executives with his father's exact, piercing amber eyes.

"Their infrastructure is weak," the five-year-old stated flatly. "We should buy them out and liquidate the assets."

Silas smirked, looking down the table at the most powerful people in New York.

"You heard him," Silas said softly. "Draw up the papers."

The legacy of Silas Thorne was no longer just an empire of wealth. It was a dynasty. And heaven help anyone who stood in their way.
